Blue Line Business Development Representative (Multiple Positions Available)

Blue Line, an IBM Premier Business Partner is currently seeking experienced Business Development Representatives for the East Region. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success developing and executing Business Development initiatives including developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns consisting of Lunch Seminars, Web Seminars, web based marketing and calling campaigns.

Blue Line Business Development Representatives are responsible for reselling IBM Software Products including Cognos, SPSS, IBM FSR, Netezza, Websphere, iLog and Blue Line Business Value Add-On Implementation & Business Advisory Services.

The successful candidate will benefit from a small company culture, with the opportunity for Sales Commissions while selling both IBM Products and Blue Line Services.

As an Business Development Representative at the Blue Line, you will:

  • Define, develop and execute lead generation activities for IBM Products and Blue Line Services
  • Establish and Develop working relationships between IBM Sales Teams and Blue Line
  • Establish and Develop working relationships between IBM Marketing Teams and Blue Line to jointly execute campaigns
  • Conceive and execute marketing / sales events showcasing IBM products and Blue Line services and drive attendance at such events

Skills and experience:

  • Successful experience selling Business Analytics Software and Services (Cognos, Business Objects, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Skills in understanding customer requirements and translating them into proposed solutions
  • Team working skills to contribute and boost motivation

Preferred:

  • Experience with IBM Cognos Products
  • Experience selling to the Office of Finance

Required:

1 – 2 years experience selling Business Analytics Software and Services

English: Fluent
